Vodka Sauce Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 28 oz. cans of chopped tomatoes
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tbl. crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tbl. basil
  • 1/2 C. heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 C. Vodka
  • Olive oil
  1. Pour tomatoes into pan WITH juices
  2. Boil and simmer to reduce the amount (45 minutes)
  3. In saute pan cover bottom of pan with thin later of olive oil
  4. Saute 3-4 cloves of garlic, 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper, and 1/2 tbl. of basil
  5. Pour 1/2 C vodka into saute pan and reduce
  6. SLOWLY pour 1/2 C of heavy cream into pan and reduce
  7. Finally add tomatoes and pour over cooked pasta
