Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 C. sugar
- 1 C. Sour Cream
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 C. Shortening (butter flavor is best)
- 5 C. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- Stir the eggs, sugar and sour cream until it's dissolved.
- Add the lemon extract.
- Cut the shortening, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt with your Kitchen Aid but GRADUALLY ADD THE DRY MIXTURE TO THE LIQUID.
- Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet
- Sprinkle with sugar.
BAKE AT 375 FOR 8-10 MINUTES.
They should be soft and they will last at least a week.
