Lemon Sour Cream Drop Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 C. sugar
  • 1 C. Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 C. Shortening (butter flavor is best)
  • 5 C. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  1. Stir the eggs, sugar and sour cream until it's dissolved.
  2. Add the lemon extract.
  3. Cut the shortening, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt with your Kitchen Aid but GRADUALLY ADD THE DRY MIXTURE TO THE LIQUID.
  4. Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet
  5. Sprinkle with sugar.

BAKE AT 375 FOR 8-10 MINUTES.

They should be soft and they will last at least a week.
