French Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. onion sliced
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbl. paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3/4 C. flour
  • 3 qt. beef broth
  • 1 C. white wine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  1. Melt butter, sliced onions (saute for 1 1/2 hours)
  2. Add Paprika, bay leaf, and flour to the saute for 10 minutes
  3. Add beef broth, white wine, and salt and simmer for 2 hours

* If you don't like how spicy it is then reduce the amount of pepper.
